Posted on MillyVerified Finca Sajorí is absolutely beautiful, the perfect place to disconnect and reconnect with nature. We loved spending time on the lower patio, taking in the tranquility and ever-changing panoramic views. The casita is close to the campground, but we never heard other guests and felt completely at peace. Everyone we met was kind and respectful, adding to the welcoming atmosphere. The hike to the river was another highlight. We enjoyed taking our time, appreciating the trees, plants, and beauty of the forest along the way. The trail is steep and may not be for everyone, but for us it was part of the adventure and well worth the effort. One of our favorite experiences was enjoying the natural darkness of the night. As people who care deeply about wildlife, we appreciated seeing Puerto Rico’s múcaros, lightning bugs, and other nocturnal creatures thriving in the environment God created for them. Most of all, we appreciated how much the owners and caretakers genuinely love an respect nature.Posted on IdalizVerified The host is amazing. very responsive. We stayed at the casita and it was very comfortable. The layout was great and a grill on the porch was awesome. The finca is beautiful and breathtaking. one thing to note the hike down to the river is not for everyone. The river itself was magical. We wore sneakers and took a backpack with us and had portable handheld fans for the hike. it took us about 20 minutes as it was steep. water shoes are a good idea once your at the river as the algae can be slippery on the rocks. I would say a few improvements are needed. Such as the camping area at night was super dark. outdoor games would be cool. There was only one spot the lights worked. The trail to the river needs to be trimmed or cleaned up. There should be railings at the hammock where the casita is so no one falls off a cliff. lastly the solar power didn't last all night but once the host was notified he tried to accommodate us immediately and come check the problem. overall this was amazingPosted on LilianaVerified Hermoso lugar. Volvermos.Posted on LauraVerified Sweet little spot- great for families. Shared areas with campers- so be aware noise can drift. But very beautiful, and a fairly vigorous though lovely walk down to the river. The house was well decorated and had everything we needed!Posted on MichaelVerified Very good place to stay and very tranquility area. We get all the way down to Río Limón. A great experience, going down and turning back east almost a mile and a half. The view of the mountains was almost like being in the sky. The house Elsa’s very beautiful and you only need to bring your clothes and what you el want to eat.Posted on AndreaVerified This was our second stay in the house, and it was amazing! Such a great place to relax and enjoy the sights and sounds of nature. We’ll definitely be back soon!Posted on SethVerified This stay is magical. The photos don’t do it justice at all. You’re definitely in for a surprise, it was 10 times nicer and beautiful than we expected. Everything went all the right ways.Posted on KatieVerified Very quiet and beautiful setting. Its very rural. The home is so comfortable and has everything we neededPosted on TaviaVerified This was the most beautiful, peaceful place to stay we could have ask for to spend three nights in the mountains. Stunning views, comfortable beds, everything we needed. Our favorite part was being able to open up all the doors and windows airing the day and enjoy the mountain breeze under the tree canopy. No A/C needed! The farm was gorgeous, and we had the best papaya I’ve ever eaten. The walk down to the river was tough, but doable and it was gorgeous in the cool waters. Understand that’s it’s solar energy and reclaimed water so you have to be mindful of when you use power and water, but it didn’t cause any undue burden. Also the bugs will visit, just let them make their way to their next stop. At night, the sounds of the coqui frogs were beautiful. We loved watching the stars. During the day, we loved reading in our hammock. Luis is an awesome host! He is ready with intention and makes the stay easy.Verified by TrustindexTrustindex verified badge is the Universal Symbol of Trust.
